SVART CROWN – ABREACTION (CENTURY MEDIA)
Though perhaps not the most original or innovative band on this illustrious list, France’s Svart Crown have managed to make an absolutely outstanding blackened death metal record with Abreaction. If you’re a fan of Watain and can’t wait around for them to release another album, Abreaction is definitely well worth your time.
The riffs are chunky, the vocals are devastatingly delivered, and Svart Crown manages to add in just enough interesting extra features to make the album far more than just a straight-up death metal smash.
