Once referred to as “the veganest vegan to ever vegan” by PETA, pop-sensation Miley Cyrus has become well known for her dedication to the vegan lifestyle and an outspoken advocate for all things plant based. Her straight to the point posts, Vegan tattoo and vegan converse range are all reasons why we love her so much. Miley recently tweeted her excitement for performing at this year’s Glastonbury Festival and we can’t help but feel excited too. The festival is full to the brim with vegan friendly food so we think she’s going to love it.
When Miley’s god mother Dolly Parton played back in 2017 it was an iconic moment in the festival’s history and we’ve got a feeling Miley is going to bring her A (or should be say ‘V’) game and be equally as fantastic!
Here’s what we’d love to see from Miley’s set in June:
Yes I am. June 26th – 30th ! Gonna be a fucking sickkkkkkkk time! I’m not only xxxcited as fuck to perform but to watch some of my favorite artists play! See ya there! ? pic.twitter.com/jvKU77wLB8

Miley’s distinctive southern twang and country influence set her apart from most other pop stars in the charts right now. Glastonbury is the perfect setting for her to really play on this side of her music and give it the attention it deserves.
This global superstar is not short of a few famous friends and it would be super exciting to see one or two turn up for her set. Perhaps Mark Ronson will be around to perform ‘Nothing Breaks Like A Heart’. She could keep it in the family and invite Dolly Parton, Billy Ray Cyrus or her siblings Trace and Noah. How iconic would that be? Miley has also featured on a fair few will.i.am songs in the past, so that’s always a possibly too, but what we’d REALLY love to see though is an appearance from Miley’s old Disney Channel friends the Jonas Brothers. Please oh please!
Hannah Montana classics
There’s no denying that Miley sung some absolute tunes during her time as Hannah Montana on the Disney Channel and it would be so brilliant to see a whole field of festival goers singing along to ‘Party In The USA’, ‘7 Things’ or ‘See You Again’!
Some of the most memorable live sets feature a good cover and Miley is no stranger to them, performing ‘Summertime Sadness’ in Radio One’s Live Lounge and once covering Elton John’s ‘Don’t Let The Sun Go Down On Me’. We’d love to hear a surprise cover somewhere in her set. She has been posting a lot about Ariana Grande’s new album on Twitter recently and we all know they are really good friends, so it would be amazing to hear a cover of one of her songs.

Miley’s biggest hits
When people choose to see an artist at a festival the crowd is more often than not hoping to hear their biggest hits and ‘Bangerz’ (see what we did there?) so we hope Miley won’t let us down on this front. We’re already buzzing about how cool ‘We Can’t Stop’ and ‘Wrecking Ball’ will sound in such an iconic festival setting. We reckon that by the end of her set, even people who are adamant they aren’t a fan of Miley will be up dancing!
A vegan message
It would be amazing if Miley snuck in some subtle (or not so subtle) vegan activism into her set to spread the message. Maybe she could throw vegan sausage rolls into the crowd instead of glitter. Glastonbury is one of the most vegan friendly festivals in the world, so she’s gonna feel right at home on Worthy Farm in June. We can’t wait to see her!
