Friday evening, the first night that geared everyone up to an incredible weekend, Limp Bizkit stormed the main stage before the headliners. No one can deny the performance by Prodigy, however, the energy given by Hurst and co, was monumental.
Of course there were the classic songs played, swinging every one into the mist of angst by starting with ‘Rollin’. The audience was in the palm of their hands from start to finish. Delving between all the anthems, and truly respecting the fans, pits took place all around the crowd. It seemed to be that the anger the tracks hold, forever seems to create a respectful relationship between the band and the crowd. There was a mutual understanding that this was the moment it was safe to release all that negative energy in a positive way, together. They truly inspired a lot of fans, and it was clear to see Sonisphere was entirely grateful.
