Southampton’s rockers Band of Skulls hit their usual high standards as they closed the main stage on Friday afternoon. The band, who have gone from strength to strength since the release of their debut album ‘Baby Darling Doll Face Honey’ in 2009, opened with ‘Asleep at the Wheel’ and proceeded to perform a series of fan favourites including ‘Himalayan’, ‘I Know What I am’ and ‘Hoochie Coochie’. The set started of with a rather mellow tone for the trio, but their perfomances built up to their last track, the popular ‘Death by Diamonds and Pearls’, which served to set the scene for the Numan’s set.
