1. ROAM – Backbone
Is it to bold for me to say this is the best debut pop-punk album ever? Because that’s what I’m saying. Encompassing the very definition of the genre but with a more gutsy, ballsy, definite British edge through their punchy riffs and double whammy of vocals. The album has an endless supply of hard hitting and powerful lyrics all wrapped up in the catchiest choruses in the scene. Naturally, there’s the token acoustic song on the album, but it certainly does not disappoint (and the live full band version sounds just as great). The rest is fast paced and bouncy and just genuinely a great album.
