It Was A Fake Mustache
This theory relates to the growth of Paul McCartney’s moustache. The theory details that imposter Paul grew the moustache in order to cover the surgical scars that came as a result of plastic surgery to make him a more convincing doppelganger for dead Paul.
That’s kinda believable right? In that kind of small point within a wider range of facts kinda way. However The Winged Beatle really harps on this fact, using a backwards recording of ‘Sgt Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band’ to display the fact the band sing “It Was A Fake Moustache”. Trust me, that little ditty will get stuck in your head like a whole new Beatles tune… And wait! What’s that inside the album sleeve… Why it’s a cut out fake moustache, so you can pretend to be a fake Paul McCartney too! How thoughtful.
Then there’s the song that’s added later in the film. Brought to you by the imaginatively titled band Iamaphoney.
This made me wonder, by this logic, what other celebs might also be dead…
