Corey Taylor after undergoing neck surgery

Of all of the jobs in the world, being a rock star isn’t exactly the safest. Corey Taylor, singer of Slipknot and Stone Sour,  recently had to undergo emergency surgery after breaking his neck and not realising until the pain became so bad that he checked himself into hospital.

But don’t worry – he’s recovering well from surgery and, despite taking a pretty hard fall on stage in Atlanta last week, it seems like he’s doing pretty well.

ATL: haha don’t worry, I’m okay! I THINK that fall was one for the ages haha! DAMN it hurt- but DAMN what a crowd! See you again soon!#CMFT

Dave Grohl – Broken leg

When Dave Grohl, the nicest guy in rock, fell off stage in Sweden last year, he refused to give up!

During Foo Fighters’ second song of the night, Grohl dramatically fell off stage in Gothenburg and broke his leg, before returning 15 minutes later to finish the set – in a cast.

In a video uploaded by a fan in the crowd, Grohl says: “I think I just broke my leg. I think I really broke my leg – you have my promise right now that the Foo Fighters gotta come back and finish the show, but right now, I’m going to go to the hospital.”

If that wasn’t enough, the band took to social media after the show to post a photo of Grohl’s leg x-ray. If that’s not rock n’ roll, then we don’t know what is.
