Sempiternal
The addition of Jordan Fish during the recording of Sempiternal caused a change in the overall sound of the album which changed a lot of people’s feelings about BMTH. The first album to be released on a major label, BMTH saw themselves play Brixton Academy sized venues with ease and even a one-off Wembley Arena show.
Despite the slightly pretentious album title, Sempiternal was the sound of a band that knew what they were doing, and knew where they were heading. It was raw in all the right places and well produced in all the right places. Oli’s clean vocals were growing on most fans, and as the music became less and less heavy, it became more accessible to a wider range of music fans.
Best of all, it including absolutely giant tracks like ‘Shadow Moses’.
