Can you believe that it has been ten years since Bring Me The Horizon’s released their debut album Count Your Blessings?!
When the Sheffield rockers burst into the world of rock ten years ago, we could never have imagined the changes they have been through become the band they are today.
BMTH have been on such a journey that they’re barely even the same band anymore, despite still having the same four original members.
With various changes in style, alongside some very successful experiments with remixes and orchestras, we take a look at the evolution of Bring Me The Horizon over the course of the last ten years through the music they’ve made. [/tps_header]

Count Your Blessings
The band’s 2006 debut album, Count Your Blessings, was the type of album that only a few people actually liked and was generally only liked by the type of people who didn’t want to like what others did. We’re sure even the band realise now that it was an album produced by a bunch of teenagers who knew no better.
The album did have a few redeeming features. ‘Pray for Plagues’, had a raw, real sound and showed a glimpse of potential. Live, they were just as aggressive and energetic as they are today, but inexperienced and fairly raucous.
Count Your Blessings represented BMTH’s early deathcore sound. Although the album did receive some negative reviews from critics, it still reached the top 100 of the UK Albums Chart.
