Earlier this week (August 16th), Annie Mac played her Hottest Record in the World on BBC Radio 1 and it just so happens that it was a brand new single from Hertfordshire's finest, Lower Than Atlantis.

The exclusive first play came a day after Mike, Ben, Eddy and Declan shared images on their Instagram accounts linked to the single, titled 'Work For It', before sharing the below picture across Twitter.

3: It’s Lower than Atlantis!

We’re just glad to have the boys back. It’s been a long time since their last full-length – it’s been 22 months, in fact, since Lower Than Atlantis. Yes, we had the Black Edition re-release with ‘Get Over It’ but this is the first taste of new material proper. The boys are yet to let us down and it’s always exciting to have such a solid band re-appear. If ‘Work For It’ is anything to go by, we could very well be on for their new best album. No word on a full release yet, but it is surely on the horizon. Watch this space.
