Earlier this week (August 16th), Annie Mac played her Hottest Record in the World on BBC Radio 1 and it just so happens that it was a brand new single from Hertfordshire's finest, Lower Than Atlantis.

The exclusive first play came a day after Mike, Ben, Eddy and Declan shared images on their Instagram accounts linked to the single, titled 'Work For It', before sharing the below picture across Twitter.

You can check out the track below, as well as finding the 3 reasons why we are so pleased to have them back in our lives.

2: They are clearly ready for Reading and Leeds

The biggest weekend in the rock calendar is just around the corner, so it’s a perfect time for Lower Than Atlantis to resurface. They help open the Reading leg on Friday 26th before moving onto Leeds the next day, so a full 10 days feels like the perfect amount of time for the fans and the newcomers to get familiar with the song so they can help them belt it out on the Main Stage. As part of such a strong lineup, it’s a good idea to re-assert their British rock scene dominance and this guarantees that the festival folk will turn up.
