Earlier this week (August 16th), Annie Mac played her Hottest Record in the World on BBC Radio 1 and it just so happens that it was a brand new single from Hertfordshire’s finest, Lower Than Atlantis.

The exclusive first play came a day after Mike, Ben, Eddy and Declan shared images on their Instagram accounts linked to the single, titled ‘Work For It’, before sharing the below picture across Twitter.

1: This Track Is Huge

Talk about a catchy chorus. Everybody loves to lead a good singalong and LTA certainly have previous experience (‘Here We Go’, ‘English Kids In America’ etc). It’s got a meaty, chugging intro, and the strong verses emulate a bit of a Royal Blood/Biffy Clyro vibe and then we’re back into that unbelievably tremendous chorus. There is no doubt that this could be opening their upcoming show at Oxford Academy II on August 24th and could very well be elevated to a show closer in tours to come. On the subject of shows…
