Black Peaks – After dropping a new video for their track ‘White Eyes’ and conquering Download Festival, there’s been quite a buzz around Black Peaks – a well deserved one at that. This is just the beginning though, the progressive post-hardcore quartet from Brighton are storming unchartered territory with their ambitious and eccentric mastery of genre. Magnificently hard hitting and a whirlwind of delight, their tracks manage to melt together brutal purges of aggression and blisteringly technical riffs, with spine-tingling melodic serenity. Jumping from tranquility to fury in the blink of an eye, you had better grab onto something because Black Peaks are ridiculously unpredictable but brilliant. They’ve set the bar high with Statues and we can’t wait to see what they produce next. Check out their new video here:
Liking the sound of all of this? Well luckily Black Peaks are playing a bunch of UK shows over July and September, so go and see them! A full list of dates can be found here.
