Petrol Girls – refuse to be silenced. They’re creating raging feminist hardcore that strives to call out the sexism that is rife within the punk/DIY scene. Their latest release Some Thing EP is an unapologetic protest which directly challenges misogyny and sets fire to the negative stereotypes surrounding femininity – the one thing we can guarantee you’ll get from their music is a feeling of complete gut punching empowerment. Ferocious feminist anthems saturated with liberating lyrics and a ruthless punk punch – they’re doing something really important, so watch this space!
