’14 was possibly one of the most experimental years for headliners we’ve had. Bringing in two “new age” headliners Avenged Sevenfold and Linkin Park, who performed their 2000 debut Hybrid Theory in its entirety. Not forgetting rock legends Aerosmith of course, who sent us home with huge smiles after their finale slot on Sunday. 2014 was really diverse as a whole with bands from all across the many rock and metal genres coming together to destroy the festival. For example, we had Status Quo on one stage and Behemoth on the other playing at the same time. It’s really something that rockers with such varied tastes can come together in a muddy field and all have an awesome time together.
