Every band strives to make it big, but some really go above and beyond. 2016 has been quite the year for a few of our favourites, and has seen a number of rock artists really make a splash in the scene. We’ve compiled a list of our top 5 in celebration of a fantastic year drawing to a close!

5. Bring Me The Horizon
The Sheffield rockers have had a pretty fantastic year, from playing with an orchestra at the Royal Albert Hall while raising money for charity, to completing their first UK arena headline tour where they sold out several dates. The band has played the bill of several major festivals too, including Glastonbury and BBC Radio 1’s Big Weekend— that’s pretty good going for a band that has divided public opinion so extensively in their 12-year career.
