Every band strives to make it big, but some really go above and beyond. 2016 has been quite the year for a few of our favourites, and has seen a number of rock artists really make a splash in the scene. We've compiled a list of our top 5 in celebration of a fantastic year drawing to a close!

1. With Confidence
With Confidence are on top of their game right now. Their debut album Better Weather was released on Hopeless Records earlier this year, sending them from the valley of the virtually unknown to become the ultimate buzz band. The Australian pop punkers have toured with everyone this year too, including The Wonder Years and 5 Seconds Of Summer, picking up hoards after hoards of fans as they’ve gone. They’ll be returning to the UK next year for their first European headliner, and audiences will certainly be in for a treat.
