Week 13: Boomtown, Hampshire, 11th – 14th August
Ok, so Boomtown isn’t really a festival, but rather a temporary city, or as they market it, a fair. Now on it’s eighth chapter, Boomtown is an experience like no other. Expect nothing but the most exciting production, as you adventure through the different streets and districts.
Broken down to 9 districts, each one has its own theme. There’s Mayfair Avenue, “the hub of high society with its swanky electro-swing clubs and live swing bands”, Oldtown, The Wild West, Whistlers Green, Trenchtown, Sector 6, Barrio Loco, Chinatown and DSTRKT 5 (touted as the venue for late night naughtiness!)
Expect a whole selection of music, ranging from Drum and Bass, Jungle and Bassline to live swing bands. But don’t just take our word for it, check out the pictures and videos over at the Boomtown website.
