It’s that time of year again! Glorious sunshine that brings out the best in us. The bass flowing freely across meadows and lapping around the trees through forests around the UK. There really is something mesmerising about morale when the months between May and September hit. Sure, the British weather isn’t really known for its sun rays consistently beaming us down Vitamin D, but with the longer days and amount of good music around, who cares if it rains?!
Just in case sunshine is your thing, we’ve added a few locations in abroad, for that guaranteed, beautiful yellow thing in the sky.
We don’t want you to waste your time figuring out what to do this summer. If Electronic music is your thing, we’ve taken the time to assemble an eclectic, exciting few months of debauchery that can be taken on by anyone who has a keen sense for some thumping bass.
HTF Presents, The Electronic Guide To The Summer!
Week 2: Love Saves The Day, Bristol, 28th & 29th June
If The Masked Ball is your thing, then Love Saves The Day is well up there in the same court. With unrivalled production, a giant disco church, the amazing roller disco and more, Love Saves The Day is not one to be missed. Last year the festival expanded out of the cosy Castle Park and into the widespread area of Eastville Park just across the city, and the result was a roaring success.
Of all the stages, we particularly recommend Arcadia’s Afterburner, Paradiso, hosted by Just Jack and Cloud 9, hosted by Motion & Apex. They boast a line-up featuring the likes of The Martinez Brothers, Skream, Jasper James, Ben Klock, Joy Orbison, Roman Flugel, Paranoid London and more.
Joining them is a whole electic mix of artists including Hot Chip on the main stage, Roni Size, High Contrast, DJ Luck & MC Neat, Dizzee Rascal, Nightmares On Wax, Katy B, Shy FX, Chase & Status, Redlight and more.
If the daytime isn’t enough for you, the after parties are also unrivalled and hosted at the likes of nearby venues, Lakota and Motion.
