The Lounge Kittens
The Lounge Kittens are a female trio who transform either well-known pop or metal tracks into harmonious wonders. Three part harmonies and a piano what more could you want. Some people would argue these are not a ‘proper cover’, others, me included embrace the uniqueness of their often humorous but precisely reconstructed masterpieces. The Kittens have already shared a stage with Limp Bizkit at Sonisphere when he approached them to ask them to open for his set later that evening with their cover of his song ‘Rollin’. Since then they have released an album which contains songs by bands such as: Alice Cooper, The Prodigy, Rammstein and many more. So who knows, they are touring with Status Quo during December 2016 maybe Rammstein will invite them up next year, one can wish.
