It seems Diet Coke has found a formula that works. Following a string of high-fashion collaborators, including Jean Paul Gaultier, Karl Lagerfeld and Marc Jacobs, they have announced that JW Anderson is the latest to design a bottle for the company.
The designer has worked on a special bottle for Diet Coke’s Regret Nothing campaign, which encourages consumers to “embrace their impulsive side.”
Jonathan Anderson has used the knitwear from his autumn/winter 2015 collection, which featured colourful, graphic prints as his inspiration. As well as giving the classic bottle a makeover, he has also created two t-shirts and a notebook to accompany the launch of the campaign.
Jonathan said of the collaboration: “I view Diet Coke as a pop-culture icon so I was excited to have the opportunity to put my stamp on Regret Nothing… You can expect something completely different with lots of cool surprises.”
A limited edition collector’s box set featuring JW Anderson’s coke bottles and notebook will be sold at Harvey Nichols stores nationwide from August 17 for around £25 and a single bottle will cost about £2.
