Tonight Alive have been very successful over here in the UK— they’ve had quite high album sales and fans are willing to travel all over to see multiple shows. They were playing exclusively at Slam Dunk Festival this weekend, making it all the more important that their dedicated following made it to the Key Club Stage, held in O2 Academy Leeds.

Fans were definitely in for a treat from the Australian pop punk band, who delivered an incredible setlist. There was something for everyone, both their oldest fans and those who were only listening to them for the first time alike. There were tracks from all three Tonight Alive albums; What Are You So Scared Of?, The Other Side and Limitless, but also their very first EP, All Shapes & Disguises, and— much to their fans’ delight— they debuted a track that will be on their upcoming fourth studio album. ‘The Greatest’ certainly lived up to its name, causing quite the stir among the excitable crowd.

One thing that must be said about Tonight Alive is just how much heart and soul they put in to everything they do. They would never be caught doing something half-assed, especially during a festival, so it’s always an interesting experience watching their high-energy yet equally thoughtful sets.
