Lights is a stunningly beautiful young woman whose music does what it says on the tin, lights you up indefinitely. New record ‘Siberia’ is another statement of the individuality and overwhelming sweetness to her voice. It is simplistic but unique and whilst listening you get sent dizzy as you drift under her spell of wonder as she sings to you.
Throughout each track, it is impossible not to feel chilled out, her music is soothing and just quite wonderful; that really is the best way to describe it, pure happy music that radiates smiles.
Highlighting tracks are hard to put your finger on, as every one is a true gem. Although, ‘Everybody Breaks A Glass’ must be mentioned, its production just sounds so epic. The bass in the middle of the track is completely unexpected, a welcomed shock when compared to the rest of the record. A healthy change that gives her album that tad more style, character and edge. Merit must be given to her for trying something different and pulling it off with ease.
Just stand up wave your arms around and hypnotise yourself to Lights‘ spell, just do it, go nuts! It will be the best decision you ever make.
