Creeper has been getting a lot of attention as of late, but is it justified? We headed down their show supporting Neck Deep and found out what the fuss was about.

Creeper has been getting a hell of a lot of attention lately, and after finally getting the chance to catch them live it’s easy to see why that is. They strolled on stage with confidence, and with six members all sporting the ‘The Callous Heart’ logo on the back of their vests/ jackets, they seemed more like some cult than a band (yes we’re aware creeper cut is their Twitter handle and website links).

The line-up for this tour was as pop-punk of an affair as it could get, with Light Years, State Champs and headliners Neck Deep. So Creeper definitely stood out, in the best possible way. Jumping right in with the fiery ‘VCR’, the energy in the room instantaneously picked up. Frontman Will Gould‘s stage presence is one that deserves a lot of praise, exuding a certain ‘I-Don’t-Give-A-Fuck’ attitude that makes it hard to look away. Running from one end to the other, he marked each corner of the stage as his territory.

Having already released three EPs, the band made sure to play a range of tracks from all releases, and it quickly became evident how big of a following they’ve already gathered for themselves. Starting the first circle pit of the night, and a damn big one at that, it really didn’t feel long enough when they rounded off the seven-track set. [/tps_header]
