On September 20th Rammstein will be releasing a live DVD titled Rammstein In America from their show at Madison Square Gardens on December 11th 2010 which sold out within 30 minutes of the tickets going on sale. The show marks the 10th Anniversary of the last time the band played in America after they retreated from the country after the September 11th, 2001 terrorist attacks, documented in the feature-length documentary on the DVD.
The documentary, directed by Hannes Rossacher will delve into 20 years of the band’s archives, showcasing a variety of never-before-seen footage across two hours including the band member’s arrests on stage for ‘lewd behaviour’, their rise to fame in Germany, life behind the Iron Curtain, U.S. touring & business dealings, and worldwide success on radio and TV.
On top of that, the DVD will also feature a 20-minute film called Making Of Liebe ist für alle da about the making of Rammstein’s sixth album.
It will be released through Island/UMe and available to purchase in both 2DVD and 2Blu-ray packages.
