Mastodon have some sad news for their European fans. The Atlanta-based metal rockers have pulled out of their 16-date European tour due to a “personal family matter” within the band.
During their August/September tour Mastodon were set to play several festivals, including the Oya Festival in Norway, Elb-Riot Festival in Germany, and the legendary Reading and Leeds Festival here in the UK.
Words from the Reading and Leeds camp confirms that Mastodon’s spot at The Pit stage will be taken by Swedish metal band Ghost.
All of us here at MOSH hope that whatever the Mastodonians have going on, it all works out for the best.
