After smashing the main stage at Download this weekend, Mastodon have announced they will be returning to the UK for a headline tour later this year. The iconic metal band, who released their fantastic latest album Emperor of Sand in March, will bring their renowned live show to these shores in December on the following dates:

6th – Newcastle Northumbria University
7th – Glasgow Barrowland
