It has been a little over two years now since Mallory Knox released their second album Asymmetry. However the wait is finally over. The Cambridge quintet have announced that their upcoming album, title Wired, will be released 10th March 2017 via RCA. Not only is it in due time, but here are all the reasons why we’re excited about the band’s return.
- It will definitely be interesting to experience this next chapter for the band. Of the album, vocalist Mikey Chapman shares: “Sometimes the biggest part is the realisation that you are fucked up, and you do need to sort yourself out if you’re ever going to find a pathway to happiness, that leads you away from the vices that deafen you daily.”
- With a new album comes a new tour! Luckily for us we don’t even have to wait until after the release for an announcement. The guys will be hitting up a bunch of cities and are playing not one, but two shows at London Koko in March/ April 2017. Full tour dates and tickets are available from malloryknox.com
- We absolutely love Mallory Knox‘s lead single ‘Giving It Up’, which received its first play as Annie Mac’s hottest record earlier this week. It’s yet another banger that these guys can add to their ever growing list. If you don’t believe us, listen for yourself below:
