Good news Linkin Park fans! The Hybrid Theory legends are back in the studio and working on a new album.
The band announced the news via a photo on their Facebook page of frontman Chester Bennington laying down some vocals captioned “back to work this week”.

No dates have been announced as to when LP’s follow up to 2014’s The Hunting Party will be released but with festival season on the horizon, a summer release seems plausible.
Linkin Park haven’t been afraid to mix things up throughout their 20 year career. From the classic nu-metal sound of Hybrid Theory and Meteora, to the radio-friendly rock of Minutes to Midnight, to the more experimental A Thousand Suns, the rockers have definitely kept us guessing.
Will the band’s seventh album stick to the heavier Linkin Park of old which we heard a return to on The Hunting Party, or will it be something completely different yet again? One thing’s for sure – we can’t wait to find out!
