Ska punkers Less Than Jake have released a track from their upcoming live album Live At Astoria – that was recorded 15 years ago! Talk about a blast from the past.
Recorded at the legendary London venue in April 2001, on the final night of a three-day run, the album is due for release on April 29 via Rude Records/Saint November Records.
So, why are LTJ releasing it now after all this time?
Saxophonist Peter “JR” Wasilewski explains: “The London Astoria was always a special place for us. For a certain time it almost felt like a home-coming every time we played there. For us to be able to play multiple nights there on several occasions needed to be documented somehow. We hope our fans enjoy it as much as we did making it!”
Less Than Jake are hitting the road with Trash Boat and Success this May. Catch them at the following venues:
May 2nd – KINGSTON Hippodrome
May 3rd – LIVERPOOL Academy
May 4th – LEICESTER Academy
May 5th – OXFORD Academy
