It’s been another great week of music videos and if you’re struggling for a place to start, don’t worry – we’ve got you covered!
Black Orchid Empire – My Favourite Stranger
London rockers Black Orchid Empire have dropped a new video for ‘My Favourite Stranger’ which looks darker and grittier than their usual stuff – which makes sense with the theme of the track. Paul Visser explains: “This song is about a friend of mine going through relationship hell. It’s about two people that are talking their situation over, but too much ground has opened up between them to even understand each other any more. They know each other inside and out, but have ended up total strangers.”
I Prevail – Rise
I Prevail are closing off on their Lifelines cycle, and of course what is a better send off than releasing one final music video? The band have unveiled their video for the track ‘Rise’ which sees the band have some comic encounters with the most challenging foes in a modern arcade environment.

Broadside – Summer Stained
Broadside’s new single ‘Summer Stained’ has a very touching video – not only does it showcase their life on tour but also their relationships from the eyes of their fans. Vocalist Ollie Baxxter explains, “With the progression of social media and everybody having a camera in their pocket, a lot of moments are captured but unseen. We always meet so many people on tour and being able to relive those encounters again without the fear of ‘I hope I’m more than just a photograph’ was really inspirational. The fact that thousands of photos poured in shows that people really care about us (as we do them). The love is more than appreciated.”
New Found Glory – Call Me Anti-Social
We love New Found Glory and we also love Home Alone, so as it turns out we absolutely adore the band’s new Home Alone-inspired music video. The video for ‘Call Me Anti-Social’ revolves around 3 young friends devising the ultimate prank as inspired by Kevin McAllister. Give it a watch below to see what they come up with.
Knuckle Puck – Twist
Knuckle Puck have a fantastic, energetic live show and this is captured in the band’s latest music video ‘Twist’. If you’ve seen the band before it probably looks quite familiar and we’re thinking this is probably what the band’s set at Slam Dunk Festival this weekend will look like.
