Infamous pop punk trio Green Day have now released a lyric video for ‘Say Goodbye.’ This song is from the band’s new album, Revolution Radio which is now a no. 1 album. The video for ‘Say Goodbye’ contains some rather controversial images in typical green day style, politics and religion are questioned head on and the graphic style of the video is a combination of emotions from twisted to brilliant.

If you’re sensitive to ideas of death don’t watch this video as you get to witness a body about to be cremated. This image is not obscene just very blunt and in some ways quite hilarious because a sensitive issue such as death has been given a comedic value which is one of the bands strong points.

Mercy is discussed in this song as a catchy hook -one of many – so naturally a statue of Jesus is depicted holding guns in each hand. Very controversial but very effective and clearly giving a strong message on their view of faith and mercy.

Very bluntly depicted is the riot brigade which is a scary sight if you had them coming to your doorstep.
