Frank Iero and the Patience have been involved in a horror bus crash on tour in Australia.
Reports suggest that a bus smashed into the back of the bands tour van whilst they were unloading, and two of the crew on the van were taken to hospital – one in an ambulance, and one with serious injuries by helicopter.
The report from Australia’s 9 News said: “The bus was not carrying any passengers at the time and the driver was taken to hospital for mandatory tests. Iero is giving statements to police.”
The former My Chemical Romance guitarist has since tweeted to reassure fans that all of the injured crew are in stable condition, and took the opportunity to thank fans for the outpouring of support.
Hi friends thanks all for the well wishes. we’re pretty banged up but miraculously alive& in stable condition. I’m still in a state of shock

Bassist of Frank Iero and the Patience Alexander Paul wasn’t there at the time of the incident, but has also thanked fans for their support.
I’m afraid I don’t have many details I was not at the venue when the accident happened, but I have been told everyone is in stable condition
