Yep, you heard us right. Foo Fighters, one of the biggest rock bands in the world right now, have announced that they will be releasing a new album this year.

On September 15th Dave Grohl and his Merry Men will release Concrete And Gold to the general population via Columbia Records.

Dave Grohl has said: “I wanted it to be the biggest sounding Foo Fighters record ever,

“To make a gigantic rock record but with [producer] Greg Kurstin’s sense of melody and arrangement… Motorhead’s version of Sgt. Pepper… or something like that.”

Motorhead’s version of Sgt. Pepper. If ever there was a band that could do it, it would be Foo Fighters.

We have, of course, already heard a taster of Concrete And Gold. You can watch the video for ‘Run‘ below:

Foo Fighters will be headlining Glastonbury Festival this weekend. Make sure you don’t miss it, they might play some new stuff!
