Well, that’s a break-up we didn’t see coming. British Punk/Rock outfit Blitz Kids have called it a day after nearly a decade together. In a letter posted to their Facebook page at the start of the day (which can be read just below), the band explained their decision to say goodbye and paid thanks to all those that had supported them, although mention of how many “gave us a chance when perhaps we perhaps didn’t deserve one” does make one wonder just quite what they mean.
Regardless though, we here at MOSH are saddened to see the end of such an excellent quartet and shall be blasting Blitz Kids tunes for a long time to come. As well as the break-up, all future gig dates (including a set at the UK Warped Tour) have been cancelled, with an announcement of a series of farewell shows to be announced soon.
