It wasn’t long ago since Bowling For Soup announced they had hung up their guitars and taken a break. Now, they always stressed this wasn’t goodbye forever, and they just didn’t know how long they would be out of the game. Turns out they would be back sooner than anyone anticipated.
The band are back in the UK this February for the “How About Another Round Tour“. The reception has been mixed, which can be expected for a band that have just recently returned from saying goodbye, from those who are annoyed that they weren’t gone long enough (I know… Crazy right?), to those that are absolutely ecstatic that they’re back in the UK once again.
In order to help explain everything lets allow vocalist Jaret Reddick to explain:
“On the Farewell Tour, we made it clear that “farewell” wasn’t “goodbye”…We had over extended ourselves for two decades and we needed a break. I don’t ever expect BFS to go away, but we had to make some changes to our touring schedule if things were going to move forward in a productive and positive manner. It really has been good being able to catch our breath. I feel like our shows are even better than they were a few years back, and I think the US audience seeing us now would agree…We cannot wait to get back to the UK…The country that, literally, is responsible for our worldwide success and longevity…How about another round?!?!?!?”
