After almost four agonizingly long years of waiting, Ontario rockers Billy Talent are coming back with a brand new record in 2016.
Dropping their new single, and the fifth album’s title track, ‘Afraid Of Heights’ last night through Alternative Press, here’s just a few reasons why we’re excited for the return of Billy Talent.

Billy Talent have had some absolute bangers over the years. They’ve worked their way into the hearts of everyone who claims to be a rock fan. They entered Greatest Hits territory in 2014 so this year it’s time to shake off some dust and release some new anthems. We wonder if we’ll see a return to the heavier scream filled tones of the Billy Talent II era, or be introduced to a more mellow melodic sound. In a perfect word (top quality pun there) we’d like a bit of both. If the new single is anything to go by, we are already heading in the right direction, so fingers crossed.
