Pennsylvania metalsmiths August Burns Red have released a whole bunch of details surrounding their forthcoming seventh studio album, Found In Far Away Places. The quintet have just released the first single from the record, entitled ‘The Wake’, as well as the complete track list and the official artwork.
“We wanted to start the record with a bang and this song is a real kick in the mouth,” explains guitarist JB Brubaker. “It’s fast and heavy while discussing how our planet is being destroyed by the gross misuse of our resources, and the general apathy of the human race when it comes to caring for the Earth.”
August Burns Red are set to support the June 29th release of their album with a banging headline shot at this summers’ Warped Tour over in the states, and are aiming to surpass the #9 spot that 2013’s Rescue & Restore earned on the billboard charts.
