With bands in black making a huge come-back, it wasn’t long until the reunions of the bands of yesteryear (well the mid/late-noughties at any rate) began. The first to break back onto the scene with a brand new album is none other than goth-rock legends Aiden, returning with a brand new album with guest appearances from Adam Crilly of Ashestoangels and Chris Motionless of Motionless in White, to name but two, and a brand new line-up.
That’s right, the only returning member to the outfit is frontman Will Francis (more commonly known under his stage name, William Control), backed by a trio of new members. Here at MOSH, we can’t help but ponder about whether it would be correct to call this a reformation or perhaps a re-invention? It’s not the first time a band has carried on with only one original member, like The Misfits (a well known influence for Aiden). Let us know what you think in the comments.
Either way, we’re still excited to see how the new album will sound. Take a listen to the track below and see what you think. We love it in all it’s punk deliciousness! Here’s hoping for more of the same from the rest of the album.
