Against The Current played Download Festival yesterday evening after being added last minute as the replacement for Architects, who pulled out of the festival due to a family emergency. A statement was issued from Architects’ team:
“Due to a family emergency Architects are forced to cancel the rest of their European festival tour for June. They hate to let you guys down and would appreciate all of your understanding and support. The band would like to ask that you respect their privacy during this difficult time.”
Against The Current, an American pop rock band, aren’t exactly what you’d expect from the festival which focuses mostly on metal music and its subgenres. You can check out a short video of the band performing below which was posted to Download’s official YouTube channel.
