We really do have a melting pot of all sounds and feelings with this week’s music video roundup. Prepared to feel weirded out, emotional and inspired all within the span of a 15 minutes.

Five Finger Death Punch – I Apologize
With their appearance at Reading & Leeds Festival just around the corner as well as the fact their album Got Your Six has just gotten Gold status, the legendary Five Finger Death Punch recently released the video for their latest single ‘I Apologize’. The video is a dark somber metaphor that speaks for itself. I don’t think we need a parallel narrative to explain it or emphasize its impact as almost everyone knows someone struggling with some form of addiction.

Big Jesus – SP
We’ve been hearing quite a buzz about Big Jesus lately, and this video for ‘SP’ really shows you where that all comes form. The essence of Big Jesus is fuzzy, grungey tones yet delivered in a more accessible, melodic manner. The band will be over in the UK supporting Good Charlotte and Citizen on their August tours.

Coldrain – Fire In The Sky
Currently in the middle of a Warped Tour run, Japanese band Coldrain have just dropped their music video for ‘Fire In The Sky’. Clearly they’re very well loved in their home country, as the new video showcases one of the band’s biggest show to date in Tokyo this year.

Crown The Empire – Lucky Us
Crown The Empire? More Like Clown The Empire (IT HAD TO BE SAID). Okay, we’re not really sure what is happening in this video but one thing we’re sure of is it’s creepy. It really is like Halloween has come early – expect lots of downright twisted scenes.

Touché Amoré – Palm Dreams
So long as you have a box of tissues ready by your side, you’re ready for Touché Amoré‘s ‘Palm Dreams’.  It certainly gets a little emotional, what with the track taking inspiration from vocalist Jeremy Bolm‘s own experience with his mother’s diagnosis of cancer.
