In case you’ve literally just been playing Pokémon Go all week and may have missed out on some of the newly released music videos by the likes of Black Stone Cherry & Young Guns, not to worry – we’ve got you covered.
The Holiday – I Try
Up and coming pop-rock band The Holiday may have only been in existence since last summer, but have already gotten great response from their forthcoming EP The Good Life. With the latest track from the record ‘I Try’ the band wanted to create a music video that’s ‘bigger and better’ than previous efforts, while still constrained by a relatively small budget. The Holiday will also be playing a handful of dates surrounding the release in Worthing, hometown Eastbourne and London.
Chasing Cadence – Everyone Relax
“Everyone Relax was written about how there’s far more to life than the monotony of working and paying bills. It’s an expression about how music is our life, music is the reason that we push on and music is what makes us who we are as individuals. Although others may see that as a phase or delusion, we see it as pursuing a dream and following a vision. The video, although it links closely to the subject matter, is more focused on the extreme measures that people are willing to go to in achieving their dreams or perhaps even just to get by.” explains Hertfordshire quintet Chasing Cadence about their robbery-themed video for ‘Everyone Relax’.
Black Stone Cherry – The Rambler
Black Stone Cherry recently released their latest album Kentucky and it is only fitting that they’ve released a music video for the emotional ‘The Rambler’. Although, it’s not so much a music video, but more like a short movie; with the narrative of ‘The Rambler’ featuring country musician Billy Ray Cyrus (yep, you read that correctly!)
Young Guns – Bulletproof
It feels like Young Guns only just released their last album Ones and Zeros, but lucky for fans their fourth album will be released this September. On the forthcoming record is the absolute hit ‘Bulletproof’, and of course the song wouldn’t be aptly titled if they didn’t put out a video in which they’ve all been shot down (*spoiler alert*).
Invent, Animate – White Wolf
Invent, Animate‘s newly released album Stillworld has been getting a lot of traction, not only among fans, but also on the charts; racking up a number of iTunes and Billboard chart positions. So naturally, we’ve really been enjoying their latest music video for ‘White Wolf’.
