The great nation that is the United Kingdom has birthed another new band who set to smash the current rock scene, we’re talking about Wars and their debut EP And So The Sea Will Calm Us All is on its way this May. But if you can’t wait that long, you can always check out ‘Gambler’s Ruin’ which we’ll leave a link to below!
The new single and the EP details were announced via our favourite radio host Daniel P Carter via the Radio One Rock Show, and we’re loving what we’re hearing so far chaps, keep it up. Vocalist for Wars, Rob Vicars had this to say about the new upcoming release: “This EP is the most personal thing we as individuals have ever worked on, we’ve really poured everything into this release and I’m implausibly excited and proud to put it out there.”
He went on to say “We’ve worked ourselves to the bone getting it ready to go over the last few months, and it’s been cathartic, enormously exciting, and a little wearing too. It’s quite weird that people will finally be able to hear these songs, but, y’know, good weird. I hope people listen to it and get something from it; I hope they hear and feel even just a little bit of the passion and sentiment that went into it”.
The lads in Wars are also touring with Bury Tomorrow, Dead Harts and Demoraliser throughout April so keep your eyes peeled for those shows! Best wishes from us to Wars, we hope you have a bright future ahead of you lads!
