Black Orchid Empire Unveil Animated Video For ‘This City’

London threesome Black Orchid Empire have revealed an animated music video for ‘This City’, the third single to be taken from the band’s upcoming debut album, Archetype.

With a CV that includes stages shared alongside heavyweights such as Biffy Clyro, Skunk Anansie, Feeder and Editors, Black Orchid Empire are definitely not amateurs to the heavy metal game. Not only that, but as winners of Emergenza UK, the band are poised to be one of the breakthrough acts of the year.

Frontman Paul Visser said: “We all absolutely love anime and the freedom of expression that the medium allows, and it’s been incredibly exciting to be able to explore that with this video, rounding out the stories we’ve told with our previous singles by showing this dystopian, sterile future.

“The guys at RamJam did an incredible job, and we’ve been absolutely blown away by the results all the way through the process. We can’t wait for you guys to check out what we’ve created – plus seeing ourselves portrayed anime-style is just badass.”
