Verses are splitting up.
The quartet, hailing from Brighton, released their debut record Feel It Faster in 2014, but have decided to call time on the band. It all seemed to be going so well. The lads even dropped ‘Invisible Lovers’ a previously unheard song at the turn of the new year.
The band took to social media to announce the split to their fans.
You can read the full message below.
“It’s not an easy thing for us to tell you all, but the time has come for us to call it a day. The four of us are still best mates and still as close as we’ve ever been, but we’ve simply reached the end of the line as a band. It’s difficult to explain why, but various things have happened over the last couple of years that forced us into a long period of inactivity, draining the life out of us and resulting in a lack of enthusiasm. It would be totally unfair for us to continue doing this without putting 100% ourselves into it.”
“Despite all that, we’ve had an absolute blast over the last few years and we can’t thank you all enough for believing in us.
Big love to you all. Over and out. x”
