London artist Kilian is calling on both old and new fans alike to dig deep and support the release of his forthcoming album ‘The Farmer’s Backyard’, via online fundraising tool Kickstarter.
It took Kilian well over a year to make his first record – the forthcoming ‘The Farmer’s Backyard’ – and the constraints ran deeper than just financial limitations. Kilian has since released 3 official music videos, with his YouTube channel accruing over 2 million views – a huge deal by any scale especially for an independent artist with no major backing.
Kilian is now relying on supporters to fund the release of his LP, and has so far raised over £7000 of his £12,500 target. He now has just 25 days to raise a further £5000, and is relying on the support of music lovers from across the world to help him accomplish his goal.
“I could never really truly pay you back,” says Kilian, “for some free music and a few freebies you will be making my dreams come true and no monetary value could out-price such an achievement.”
