It’s not been long since the release of their last album ‘The Day Is My Enemy’ but The Prodigy are already thinking about what the future could hold.
Speaking to NME, the band spoke about how getting older could “soon” see the band retiring.
Keith Flint said, “I think that the band’s gonna come to an end at some point. And it’s got to be soon. It will end before we want it to because of the realities of age”
Liam Howlett added, “There comes a point where you don’t want to be Uncle Alan at the wedding reception.”
With ‘The Day Is My Enemy’ topping the album charts and with a whole load of live dates booked for this year already, I think we probably have a bit more time to go yet before we need to say goodbye to The Prodigy. The band are touring this summer so make sure to catch them while you can.
