As part of the Converse Cons EP series, The Dillinger Escape Plane has collaborated with rapper Jarren Benton on a song named ‘Rage’. The Converse Cons EP series brings together artists who would not usually cross musical paths.
‘Rage’ is the latest track to have been recorded at the Converse Rubber Tracks studio in Brooklyn, New York, for the EP series. The studio provides upcoming artists with the oppurtunity to record music with high quality facilities at no cost and The Dillinger Escape Plan, who are already known to never follow the rules, have been no different this time, have created a full on rap-metal track.
In addition to the release of ‘Rage’, the band’s guitarist Ben Weinman has also recently unveiled his Party Smasher Inc. project, which is intended to encourage musicians, photographers, illustrators and designers to share and collaborate ideas. You can find our more about the project here.
