Fearless Vampire Killers have announced that Aiden frontman William Control will produce their sophomore album.
The band will fly to the US to begin recording at Will’s new studio in Seattle next month, having spent the past few months composing new material in the wilds of Suffolk.
“We are going to make the best fucking album anyone has ever heard. By this time next year, Fearless Vampire Killers will be a household name,” said Will.
“I only get involved in projects that I am truly excited about and I have to be inspired by the artist or band I’m working with. My goal is to help Fearless Vampire Killers create an album that people care about, that people can relate with, and most importantly, that boys and girls across the globe can sing along to.”
Fearless Vampire Killers vocalist Kier Kemp said the record will be the second instalment in their series about Grandomina – the fictional city which formed the concept behind their debut LP.
“The writing process is very new this time. We’ve really been getting absorbed in it, each band member has been very involved!” he said.
“This album is going to be FVK turned up to 11, smashing your (back) doors in and filling you full of magic. It’s going to be like Disney meets Coheed and Cambria!”
The band hope their sophomore effort will cement their status as one of the best new British bands around and will allow them to finally break in to the mainstream.
