While She Sleeps are pretty busy at the moment. Currently they are touring America with Parkway Drive. When they head back to these shores they are set to play a handful of intimate shows including the London Borderline.
While they’ve been out in America the band have recorded a tour diary. You can watch it right here.
As if that wasn’t enough their brand new song ‘Death Toll’ will be released on limited edition 7″ vinyl for record store day on 20th April. You better not sit around because the track will only be available on this day!
The band are also set to re-release their album ‘This Is Six’ on 22nd April which will feature additional and alternative tracks.
Guitarist and songwriter Sean Long said “This track is a combination of all of our most dark and raw songs but with a new anthemic twist. This time it has such a distinct underlining demonic feel to it that I think will really set it apart from both “The North Stands For Nothing” and “This Is The Six”. I have to admit the feel to this track was not intentional as it really did just come naturally which is how we have always written music. The one thing I will say is – If you like heavy music then you will not have a problem losing your fucking shit to this!”
Guitarist Mat Welsh explains: “The alternative tracks we are recording are an amazing chance for us as a band to experiment and find out what we are capable of. The stuff we have already sounds killer and we have some surprises in store. Don’t worry – it’s still going to be Sleeps, just a different take on it.”
